Their case will probably be thrown out but it's good to know I'm not the only one who's pissed. I really don't care about the "restitution and damages." I would demand the elimination of the exclusivity deal. That's why I believe those two plaintiffs need to name the NFL in their suit especially now because of the negative climate of professional sports.

By having exclusive rights to the NFL EA can be as lazy as they want, and put out an inferior product without worries that a competitor will take sales away from them with a better game.
Not that they would release an inferior product, mind you.

Could a rival game manufacturer make a deal with the players assocation to use all NFL players names and identites in their game and just call the teams under a different name like Miami Sharks or New England Tinkerbells or something like that.

Idk, I'm with EA on this one. 2K games blow and glitch all the time from personal experiences. IF 2K was really the better franchise, the NFL would have approached them instead of EA, plain and simple.

except for the fact EA offered more money. The deal has absolutely NOTHING to do with quality.
NEVER EVER EVER has 2K football games been better then madden.. NOT EVEN CLOSE. PERIOD. "oh but they have the first person view".. That sucked too. the gameplay in 2K was terrible.. even on dreamcast.. you coudl get to the sideline with marshall faulk and hurdle all the way to the endzone jumping over every defender that dove at you.. it was terrible.. im tired of all you HATERS that prolly just arent good at madden so you wanna hate on it.
