I just got Madden 09 yesterday for the PS3 and I've played through the season about 3 times. Every time I get to the draft, all i see is CB or QB within the top 10 with a random RB DT or DE thrown in occasionally. The same thing happened in the last version, i'm a little upset it has not been fixed. Does anyone else have the issue and notice it as well? I want to see a MLB that actually could be selected before the 3rd round....YUCK!

the thing that annoyed me was that very few of my players progressed at all. Ted Ginn ended up with about 960 yds receiving and went up 1 point. Thats about it. Jake Long didn't go up at all. Neither did anyone else. WTF EA?

They are having a patch in a week or two, progression will be fixed and a few other things that you can look up.

For your player's skills to improve you have to train them before every games.
On all my leagues I have Ronnie running at 99 speed with elusive and power running skills.
They leave it up to you to progress the player.

they want you to buy head coach- for the draft enhancements- i heard it is incorporated well into the $90 package--
but i do know aht you mean about the franchise draft sucking-
