Miami WR Oronde Gadsden has shoulder surgery

but not much luck. I was told my height was the deciding factor. I'm 5' 8 1/2" tall (to be exact) 190 lbs. 4.5 forty yd. dash. The pototypical safety in the NFL is 5'11" 205lbs. 4.6 forty yd. dash. My forty time is very good, but with the NFL looking for the 6'2" and 6'3" WRs, the knock on me was my height (that's what I was told by scouts), and that didn't surprise me. I was invited to tryout for the Panthers, Jaguars and Cowboys but no luck. I play semi-pro football now for the New Castle Saints. Its cool though, I play for the love of the game.

the guys are huge today. back when i was playing, a 170 lb middle linebacker was average. now i weigh 210 but age has distributed the table muscle a little differently!:goof:

know what you mean, in HS I wanted to play for the team at 5'9" 160# they said I would be a guard :eek: but my mother would not let me play :o

you had to weigh before each game, guys used to put sinkers and rocks where ever they could stash em, before they hit the scales, to intimidate the other team. hell, now they probably take things off!

My natural position is FS(what I played in HS). I can play QB(good luck)WR, and CB too. If I beefed up (don't really want to too much) I could play TE.

Being tall helps play center field.
