Spencer Hawes rocking the mullet > Hakeem the Dream in his prime

Way too many threes though. Especially when we were up double digits, those were pretty much the only shots we jacked up. On the positive side though, no Iguodala or Bynum, and I'd say we're still an elite defensive team. I'd actually be pretty shocked if Michael Curry doesn't get a lot of head coach consideration during the offseason.
I was really surprised at how well we were able to contain the Nuggets. They are a high powered offense and we held them to 75 points. Curry does a great job with the defense, has for a few years now.

I was thinking the same thing, especially during the second half. We shot way too many threes, that was what kept Denver in the game longer than they should have been.

I get doing the first few times he gets the ball, but it kind of got ridiculous doing it for most of the game.

Jrue Holiday extended for 4 years, 41 mil. Sounds about right.

Oh and 4 steals and 3 blocks for J-Rich after being quite a surprise in the preseason from a defensive standpoint. This is why I didn't think losing Iggy was going to be that big of a hit to our perimeter defense. Yes Iggy is a great defender, but how much of that was due to the system and coaching? Players don't make great defenses. Coaches make great defenses. It's why teams like the Celtics, Magic, and Bulls have had great defenses.

Sounds good to me. He's a big part of this team.

How frustrating is it that we get Bynum and this dude won't be ready til late Jan at worst. I was so looking forward to this year and now this crap happens. Sucks to be a Sixer fan lol I wonder now will happen when he is up for free agencey.

I expected him to be out for a while, but not until January. It is what it is. I'd rather have a healthy Bynum for the playoffs than a banged up Bynum during the beginning of the season.

As long as Bynum shows that his knees are healthy when he comes back, the Sixers will re-sign him. In the worst case that he doesn't, the Sixers would have a lot of cap space to go after someone in FA.

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but that was a great win at Memphis. Even though Gay didn't play, the Sixers had a great game. This wasn't one of the games I thought they would win on this road trip. I love the way Dorell Wright is playing, though.

Hey guys haven't posted here in a bit, and I'm sure you have covered it, but letting Vuc go is looking mighty, mighty bad. Didn't like it when they threw him in, was hoping they would throw Hawes in the deal. Maybe Orlando demanded him, I don't know, but he is doing a great job for them and will only get better. Additionally, Lou is kicking some a** in Atlanta. Woe is us. No need to rehash the whole Bynum debacle. Such high hopes for this season and we are basically done. Where do we go from here?Being a Dolphin and Sixer fan sure has sucked for the last decade or so. As a sports fan, I'm just becoming a bitter jacka**.

Oh, and as for Turner, he will never, ever amount to anything. Should have thrown him in the deal instead of Vuc.
