I want no part of induction into your sinful little get-together you have here, squatting on internet bandwith that could be used in better, more productive ways.

Good stuff CK. It is nice to have the offense not going 3 and out on crucial possessions.

Tentative Ronnie. I wonder if Ronnie Brown tweaked something today. That's what I kept thinking as I watched him run in the second half and toward the end of the first half. He looked more tentative than I've seen him in quite a while. No, he's not back in danger of being a bust, but something clearly rattled him and it was tough to see what it might have been.
Today Ronnie kind of reminded me of of his first couple of years in the league. I think that he just tends to over analyze his runs. On several of them today, I was screaming, "Just turn and head up the field!" That screen to him toward the end is a good example. Instead of just powering forward for the first down, he came almost to a complete stop and wound up short when he tried to get a little too cute.

Switcharoo. Did anyone else notice that in a lot of third downs and second downs they switched out Ikechuku Ndukwe in favor of Evan Mathis? Personally, I didn't like it. On the play where they picked on Carey for getting knocked flat on his butt by Ebenezer Ekuban, that thing I thought about that play was that Mathis probably should have picked up Ekuban as he stunted over right guard. He didn't, and it resulted in a sack. Then on another play, Mathis was clearly just beaten outright for a big pressure on Pennington. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of that switching, but it's possible they did it because of the thin air. Sparano raised the concern before the game that the one area of the team that could get hurt by the thin air, because they are not actively rotated, is the offensive line. Perhaps he thought switching Evan and Ndukwe would help mitigate it.
First I would like to thank you for the wonderful speech. Really well screwed together! I have not even had time to read it all through, but I will probably get it done after my little message here!

It seems to me that we were totally out played when Evan Mathis were move into instead of Ikechuku Ndukwe. It was evident that there were problems at the RG position during the game, and whether it is just the thin air I do not know yet. Sparano might make a little comment about it in his next presser. But tactically speaking, it is a perfectly election to change a bit if it was due to the air. The more kilograms you have worn, the more heavier and more difficult it becomes in the length.
Especially with these big boys, then it could be quite hard to play every snap in a drive under hard circumstances. Of course I will not make it harder than it is.

Now is the time to read the rest of your post! :-)

gosh, ronnie looked real aggressive in the first, that off tackle play for about 8 yards in the first quarter where he turned the corner then lowered his shoulder into about three defenders was sweet, sure hope he didnt tweak anything.

Just to add something....if anyone wants to see how great jake long is, just watch that play at the end of the game when ricky catches the pass, Jake was left on an island and completely dominated the rusher giving Chad the time to make that pass.
