I like them both about equally, but I always enjoyed Casino more, probably because of the antics of Nicky Santoro.

I only thought Goodfellas was okay. I really like Casino, Nicky was nuts in that movie. You never knew what he was going to do. I loved the calmness of Sam.
There's another gangster movie that I like better than both of them, and that's Donnie Brasco. Depp and Pacino in that movie were great together.
has to be Goodfellas for me. Close call though. Both are great movies.

I personally think Casino is boring. It is way too long and just feels like a rehash of Goodfellas.
The difference between the two for me would have to be the use of De Niro. In Goodfellas he was easily a great villan, and in casio he was the guy we identified with, and Joe Pesci pretty much played the same character in both movies.
So I found myself feeling more sorry for De Niro in Casino than I did for Ray in Goodfellas. So yeah I'd have to go with Casino.

Personally, Casino for me was the better movie. GoodFellas is the better one-liner quote movie

Nah, Casino is all the way around better and has better one-liners. Most of the one's in Casino can be applied to situations in life that arent exactly that of how or why they were stated in the film. I use alot of them all the time.......

Anytime youre having trouble contacting someone......"Youre tougher to get than the President." Of course you have to say that to someone you know who is comfortable with you. Well you could say it to someone random, but they would probably take it the wrong way and consider it rude.
Anytime you do something stupid or make some poor decision that puts you in a really tough spot.......you can always loosen up and see the humor in it and say to your friend......"I ****ed up Frankie. ****ed up good this time." And if it has to do with a female(and what tough spot that you find yourself in dosent have to do with a female. Usually its the case) then you throw in "I shoulda never started with this ****in broad."

That movie is ****ing phenomenal.
There are so many great scenes. Charlie the Banker is up there on my list.

Casino is fantastic, but the answer is Goodfellas. It's not even close.
I can't even describe how good Goodfellas is. I love those rise and fall mob movie stories, and Goodfellas does it better than any other. Ray Liotta does a fantastic job as Henry Hill, making his way up as a kid to a powerful wealthy gangster.
