I thought it was a good movie, but not quite as good as Casino Royale. This time the overall "bad guy scheme" was a bit fuzzy and was a bit of an after thought. I never got the impression that Greene was much of a threat to Bond. I thought it was more of a movie about Bond's standing in MI6 than anything else. The action was good, again it is refreshing to see a James Bond that can actually kill a bad guy in hand to hand combat. Not just throw a punch and then shoot him with his Walter PPK. I really like Daniel Craig in the role. The whole scene at the opera was brilliant right down to Bond's smuggness when he spoke up on the mike to the other bad guys sitting in the audience and then the stare down with Greene and his thugs when they met in the hallway right after. Classic.
With the ending I'm guessing the overall arc of Craig's turn at the character will be his on going battle against Quantum. I think he's signed on for 3 more movies. I'm looking forward to the next one. It should be a fresh start with a new story within the Quantum story arc.
