Most approve of Obama's Cabinet picks, poll shows

Seventy-five percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey approve of Obama's Cabinet choices, with 22 percent disapproving.

That's 16 points higher than those in favor of then President-elect Bush's Cabinet picks eight years ago.

That's all fine and dandy but can Obama control all these strong personalities? That's the real question.

When its all said and done I think there's not going to be a middle ground with this cabinet. Either its going to be one of the greatest cabinets of all time, or a complete disaster. One or the other...

What personalities other than Hillary? Joe Biden and Bill Richardson are loyal soldiers. Robert Gates as well. Holder, Napolitano, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Tom Daschle?

I have to disagree with you big time. I think it is very clear who is in charge. Hillary is the only problem, really.

I have to say that I am a big fan of Susan Rice. I really hope she finds her way to Secretary of State in the immediate future.

"Obama is so popular that 52 percent of Republicans approve of his Cabinet choices," Holland said.

Even the Neo-Cons like Obama picks.

I'm sure without a doubt that the majority of those polled had no idea about who his picks are. I would have loved to see the people polled name at least 4 or 5 picks. Now that would have been fun to watch.

So now you like NAFTA, Greenspan monetary policies, and deregulation of morgate direvitives? Not to mention the awsome job Rubin did at Citigroup the last 8 years, definately worth the $50 million he was paid this year.

Is Brownie available for FEMA? Cheney up for Department of Energy?

Hoping for a Jon Stewart interview skit of Cheney being named Energy secretary and the approval that comes with it.
