lol that sucks man, luckily I haven't experienced this yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Actually had this happen to me three or four months ago. And I just let it sit worried I was going to have to buy a new one. I contacted microsoft about two weeks ago and sent it in and had it back in four days. Works great and it was fixed for free. Can't beat that.
Yeah, mine was gone for about 10-14 days, I don't remember. A lot faster turnaround time than the first time I sent it in to them.
i gave up and threw mine in the closet after the 3rd time. i may just sell/trade the hdd and peripherals to gamestop for ps3 stuff.
it started with the tuck rule.

if a Quarterback is attempting to pass he must have the ball tucked completely back into his body before it can be a fumble. This means even if he is attempting to tuck back into his body when he fumbles it is an incomplete pass.
It would be a lot smarter to simply call 1 800-4-my-xbox to have them fix it for free. Then if you really want to sell it and aren't just a PS3 fanboy trolling this thread you'll get more money out of it.
just fix it with a heat gun. takes longer to open the POS than to fix the GPU in it. you can find videos on youtube on how to repair and open it
