Which team had best draft 09

Ive been lookin on net for draft analysis to see whom experts think had the best overall draft and the only one i could find was mel kiper, which isnt in my opinion finding one at all. So I thought I would ask fellow Orca fans their opinion on who had the best and worst draft 09.

My opinion is that I think the Bengals and Bills had the best drafts.

Bengals picked up 3 players with 1st round talent but again with Bengals all have charachter issues......best draft of potential starters....but it is the bengals.

Bills have picked 5 potential starters in Maybin, Wood, Levitre, Byrd and Nelson. I think this is the best draft, though they still need a Tackle.

A note on our draft, I think they are agressive picks, as they seem to be picks to win rather than devolop. CB and WR was bigest need and we picked up competition in both areas. The creative nature it gives to Henning with the pick of White will have teams worrying when he strolls out in package with RB, RW and TG.

I like the Bengals draft over the Bills, only because I think Johnson could be the best player in the draft this year if somebody can turn his light on.

On another note I think the Jets had the worst draft possible. I think Sanchez was the most over hyped player of the draft. And what they traded to get a one year player with a mediocre arm is just laughable. The fact that he was out performed by Pat White in passing drills is just a bonus.

    Wildcat anyone?

I agree. Not sure about the WR drafted, but the first 3 picks could all contribute immediatelly.

Everybody talking about Wildcat for Pat White, which I belive would be awesome, but Henning drew that up mainly for Ronnie Brown, so he may have another and even beter package for Pat White. I think with the WR drafted and the ones already on roster, i can see spread offence package with White at QB. They have to honour Ginn speed so would have to keep one safety deep and also be aware of White running. If white can get the ball out camarillo and Bess will have field day with underneath coverage.

    Other than the Dolphins...the Texans.

When you figure how hard it's been for the Dolphins when they play them...now add Cushing, Barwin along with a few other decent players...Geez.

    Cushing

    Barwin

    Caldwell

    Casey

    McCain

and a few others...not a bad draft for a team on the edge.

I usually dont post much but here are my 2 cents.

This thread reminds me of a similar one of last year, if I recall correctly KC was thought to have the best draft last year and I really don't know how their players are doing but judging from their record and the fact that they picked top 5 in this past draft doesn't seem to be a great class. makes me wonder about all the commentaries I have been hearing about draft grades, "everybody" knows a draft should be evaluated after 3 years and still you hear and read all this experts draft grades, I know there's not a lot to talk about during this period, but common.

about our draft, I remember a lot of people questioned our picks last year specially the Langford one, it turns out he has been great, so we'll see maybe we could have the best draft of all

go phins and welcome to all the new miami dolphins members, here is hoping they become contributors and build a great team that can win a championship

NYG draft was good. Pats did a bang up job as usual- got what they needed for their system and yet another extra 2nd rd pick next year. Bears, when you factor in Cutler, did very well. Bengals draft is potentially excellent.
