True story, I can confirm that. I was the manager that night and saw the whole thing, that John Beck guy asked me "Do I get my meal for free" and I asked "Why would you". He then told me he was John Beck and I told him I didnt care and thats when he paid for his meal and sat in the corner. JCane and friends laughed at him because they were the 1,000th customer and all received free meals...
