It's so strange how fans turn on players so quickly. This is nto a shot at dolphin fans, obviously it happens w/ my team and all teams. There are times when it's deserved like when Ricky Williams quit on you but other guys just go to work and try their best. Why should they be bashed when leaving?

I called Jeff shortly after the Beck release, We talk at least once a week and have ever since he was my assistant coach at North Texas Mean Green, I dont mean to brag but I can throw Jeff Ireland 60+ yards, further with a Nerf Jeff Ireland.
What Jeff told me on the phone was that Beck will be ok. He is still young enough that many teams will want to invest the time it takes to teach him a new system.
He said that Becks on field accomplishments, winning record, TD to INT ratio, solid hands, pocket pressence and leadership skills will insure that Beck will be in the League for a long long time.
He then told me how BP will never allow JT back in Miami and that Penny will start, Pat White will be #2 and Henne #3.

These people are fickle junc, Jason Taylor put 10 years of hard work in to become the greatest Dolphins defender to ever play and people turned on him the second he signed on to Dancing With the Stars. If Pat White throws one TD pass in pre-season, people will be chasing the Chad's out of town.

On our board(it's not our board anymore b/c I well never post at thegangreen anymore), on my old board the bashing of Chad is just insane. All the guy did was win when he was healthy, play hard, play through a career threatening injury to help us win, was a class act on and off the field and he they act like he was Bubby Brister 1995. I'll never understand it.
