That is fine, but at least you had the ability to make the choice. I would expect games like these to have only songs from the last ten years, or maybe less.

Plus that's how anything marketable goes these days. Some like them, some don't. Not everyone will enjoy the same stuff.

Just can't stand statements like your first post that come across as (though you didn't say it word for word) saying that what you like is what good music is and what they have on there that others like (millions upon millions of people) is crap.
I just get sick of it, and I'm certainly not making this an analysis of musical quality. Just can't stand those statements. And again...you didn't say that, I just interpreted it that way.

Bob Dylan is in RB2. Elliot Smith and Band of Horses are both from the last 10 years.
The GH and RB games always have a wide ranging musical selection. Check out some of the soundtracks.
