yea they changed the ratings to make it more realistic... so there are fewer star players, and team weaknesses are more easily manipulated. also this way the star players are noticably better... as they would be in real football
hence all the low ratings
yea i noticed the will allen thing too.. sean smith is also a 75, same as allen

Well this year madden changed the rating systems, to make them more realistic in difference. Few players in the league are above 95 like everyone used to be.
I do have some discrepancies.
Jason Taylor 79? this guy used to be their yearly 99 rated DE. Huge dropoff, i know he probably has lost a step but give the man an 85. 79? I don't know how they just didn't go 80 for respect.
Henne should be higher than 66, he's got talent no experience, should have 73-76ish.
Langford 71/Merling69/Fergy76/Starks 63? Wow we gonna suck in madden!
Starks used to be in the 80's on madden 07.
our recievers are pretty poor too, camarillo and bess deserve +5 points.

It seems madden 10 has made players rankings not as good as they should be, guess its better than someone being majorly over-rated.

Fasano a 67 spd? Green an 80 spd? Horrible. They got Ginn's toughness right though
