    where the wild things are

my wonderful fiance surprised me last night by taking me to see this at midnight. i was sad because it was sold out, but locke had bought tickets a week ago and didn't tell me. such a sweet gesture!

anyways, i've been so excited to see it for weeks, and it didn't disappoint! spike jonz did such an amazing job with it! anyone else seen it?

I liked it a lot. I was worried about taking a 20 page book with maybe 15 sentences, and turning it into a major motion picture. It turned out excellent though...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...

While it is a PG movie and is based on a children's book, the themes are very adult. I really think you need to be an adult to appreciate the film more. Kids will like it in spurts, but I think a lot of it will go over their heads.

I went with a female friend of mine and it was the best movie I have seen in awhile.
they did a very good job with it.

I want no part of induction into your sinful little get-together you have here, squatting on internet bandwith that could be used in better, more productive ways.
