Meek and mild does not equate to the physical body necessarily.

Jesus was probably somewhere in between some little scawny guy and Jake Long.

He was a carpenter by trade. This does not mean he was Mr. Muscles, but he wasn't a wimp either. He was a blue collar guy.

If we can all agree that Jesus was reportedly a carpenter's apprentice, that means he was a tradesman. He probably was leanly muscular with thick wrists and forearms. The repetetive actions and aerobic nature of the job probably ensured efficient calorie burn that maximized lean musccle development.

And yes. Meek and mild has absolutely nothing to do with body style.

Jesus was almost certainly a smaller man, probably around 5' 5" as that would be around average height for the time he was alive (if he ever even existed).
Also, he was either black or dark skinned. I mean unless you are under the impression that there was a clean cut white guy with a flowing beard doing manual labor in the Middle East thousands of years ago.
And he smelled, for sure.

would have been in great physical shape. not super human, but

Gods word the bible says over and over about taking care of your body
HE gave you and keeping it clean ["cleanliness is next to Godliness"].

you think some weak looking, mangy haired sickly, like most of the world
portrays him as, could do all those miles, on foot, sometimes being chased
and running for his life through scorching deserts and cold of winter could do
all that? nope. another reason to sure jesus was in fine shape.

Jesus, being Gods son, would SURELY have adhered to his Fathers command
that humans take care of the body they were given ["treat your body as a
temple"].

there being NO pictures of jesus handed down through the centuries, it only
takes a little common sense to see all these pictures of him with nasty, stringy
hair and anorexic, thin, sickly body are FALSE representations.

satan loves those pics though, as they were inspired by him.

jesus would have been in fine health and physically fit. he would have been
dressed well, but with humility and moderation. he would have been well
groomed and clean. after all, he was undertaking the most important
ministry in mankinds history plus was representing his Father at every stop.

he went house to house [ACTS:20-20] and also spoke with many people as
he travelled from place to place, in person. he would want to appeal to people,
not repel them with a sickly, unclean look. remember, people in those days
were afraid of ANYONE who appeared sick as there were virtually NO cures
for most diseases and afflictions [leprosy].

so like i said, a little bible reading and common sense will give people a good
idea how he must have appeared and dressed.

Um......yes we do know that he existed...and we are very sure the bible wasn't written by just one guy who meant it to be fiction.

CASH: even though the bible is the main book jesus is spoken of in, there were many, many secular [non christian, non jews] who wrote about jesus and his life, or parts of it. josephus, a contraversial hebrew scribe of the time with no close contact of ANY kind to christ and his apostles wrote about him and some of the things he did in detail many times throught his life and writings.

for many, many years, one of the points non believers and sceptics used to discredit the bible was PONTIUS PILOT, the roman governor who gave the order to put jesus to death. he wasnt mentioned in any of their historic documents they had. then all of a suden, in 1969, a construction crew uncovered what was obvious a ancient ruin of a home. so as they are uncovering more they saw a big flat stone. it was the front stone to the walkway of the residence with the residents name on it [a common practice in those times]. the name?

yep. PONTIUS PILOT!!!

and as they uncovered more of the home there found many documents from pilot as well as from rome itself concerning pilot and his affairs in the area along with information and actions taken with local uprisings and enemies of rome. within those were references to "a man name jesus" who had a folllowing amongst certain jews and even romans themselves. pontius was far from being a follower of christ. and rome had no connection with him at all. his tenur as governor in the jewish teratories was very short and it is unknown why at this time. most likely the reason he wasnt mentioned amongst roman scholars and scribes. wasnt around long.

and there are many, many other people and objects such as scrolls and cylinders that mention him.

SEEK and you will find as the scriptures say. if a person refuses to believe, wants nothing to do with it than he WONT find. having faith and searching for the truth shows you have a real interest in your heart. God will always reveal the answers. he also said that in the end days, he will make even the very rocks cry out with proof of who he is, that no person will not know who he is and who is behind the things that happen in the end of days such as the great tribulation and armagedon itself.

but anyhoo cash, the PROOF is there. even the jews today know he existed. they just dont accept him as the messiah and son of God. but they know through their own historic records handed down through history that he existed. and there are many, many other things that have been discovered over recent times that were mentioned in the bible that were unknown to historic and scientific scholors for decades. the bible over and over made refernece to the earth being round, the CIRCUMFRENCE of the eart. the belief at that time was the earth was FLAT, not round or circular as we know it is today. coincidence? the bible record was correct as science later PROVED the earth was in fact... round!

its written in the scriptures, "he is reveling all in the apointed times". and He reveals all the things he wants, like pontius pilot, when he wants them to be revealed. we are on Gods time, not ours.

hope this gives you SOME insight CASH. i felt just as you did at one time. only difference is i WANTED to know. and God knew it was in my heart. i told myself if He really existed and there was proof he does and it makes sense for all mankind, i wanted to know. i would accept it. i did "SEEK" him out and as he promised, he revealed himself and his purpous. He wants you to ask questions CASH. that shows real interest. ask away. if you are a true seeker and not just someone who will never believe no matter what, a ridicular with no real interest in God, He WILL reveal the answers you seek.

secular history and science proves the bible and God and christs credibilty and existance all the time. and they will continue to, even if it is not there purpous to do so. He is revealing himself to the nations at His own time and in his Own way. there are things besides the bible itself that can help you with answers if you look for them. like pontius pilot!!! like jesus!! just look for them.

OK, has anyone ever written of Jesus in the time he supposedly walked the Earth, and not decades later? And to the point of Pontius Pilate, mind showing a link of your proof? Any Pilate-Christ link is strictly through the Gospels and nothing more.
