I think in its 4th season, this series has caught its second wind. Back to the modern-day equivalent of Shakesperean multi-layered cross and conflicting allegiances, betrayals, double dealing, love, hate, and (my favorite genre) revenge... with a healthy dollop of violence interspersed. For me, now that CYE has ended its season, SOS is back to being the best show on TV, (and surprisingly not on a premium network either).
Usually after the 2nd or 3rd season of a show, there's writer fatigue; they run out of novel story lines and become more predictable I feared the Irish plot last season was somewhat contrived and essentially an excuse to take a breather. Well, whether there's an infusion of new writers or the time out was rejuvenating, after 3 episodes, SOS is back with a vengeance... and I'm back to a "can't wait til next week's episode" mindset. Well done!
Oh, and Peggy Bundy is looking every bit the GILF this season too.

This is one of my favorite shows. NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX need to start taking a few lessons from not only the movie channels but AMC and FX, which I suppose could be considered FOX, because they know how to do a show the right way and the big four mostly air a bunch of garbage that gets canceled pretty fast these days.
