All I can say is that if the world really ends in 2012, I sincerely hope it is not as drawn out and filled with plot holes as the movie is. I was thinking that if nothing else, it would have some cool special effects, and it did at times. That does not make up for the fact that it was nearly three hours long and had a story line nothing short of laughable.
Seriously, the ancient mayans could not predict how bad it was.

That 2012 stuff is garbage and Hollywood made a cool buck off some nonsense as they always do. Everyone thought the world would end in 1998, Y2K and 09.09.09 for some dumb reason. The world isn't going to end in 2012. The Mayan calendar stopped when it did because these people grew tired of chiseling **** into stone and quit.

I dunno, I actually enjoyed the movie. I just saw this afternoon and I went into it expecting just a fun movie with no real story and that is basically what I got.

TDATM would've been better if the snow started first and then the tornados and other hell finished the movie. I thought the city freezing over was pretty boring and not as WHOA as it would've been had hurricanes ****ed the city up instead.
