I just don't get this...
Not only has Apple cannibalized its Macbook Air sales (that product will be gone in less than a year) but it has basically created a bigger iphone without the calling capabilities.
I just don't see who this product will appeal to (other than Apple fanboys). I can't imagine someone buying a ebook reader for $499 base model.

it cant even be pitched as a true competitive Ebook Reader, Compare the selection of EBooks available from Itunes compared to Barnes and Noble.

What this does is it opens the door for similar machines to be created. I expect the 2nd and 3rd generation IPADS to have Cameras, multitasking, USB Support etc....
