Junc, I loved the porter signing, I really did. But the way he ran his mouth and never backed it up pissed me off. I was officially done with him when he started crying to the media instead of keeping it inside the house and just discussing it with parcells and Ireland. Instead he chose not to speak to either and ignore them. He's a douche bag to be honest. He cries when he doesn't get what he wants, he doesn't produce, and he is a cancer.
Porter sucks.
He runs his mouth, you knew that when you got him and he backed it up in 2008. he had a bad 2009 and deserved criticism but overall he was good for your franchise.

2007 and 2009 were terrible seasons for him. I expect a player of his caliber to as the bare minimum produce in over half of his seasons, something Porter was unable to do. Him not wanting to rotate is ridiculous because to be honest, I'm not convinced he was even worthy of starting. He was terrible against the run, and there were game in which he didn't even record a tackle. He is supposed to be a pass rusher, which he also failed to do numerous times throughout the season. As far as I'm concerned, he was a big bust of a FA acquisition. 1 good year for all the money he got was simply now worth it.
