I am a little pist that I erased my ME1 game saves, I may hold off on playing ME2 until I replay ME1, so I have my game save. I think it will be cool to continue on from my already established rep. Then again, I may want to play ME2 so bad that I can't wait....
You can still play it. But to get the true feel for the game. Playing part 1 would be a good idea. At the same time Mass Effect 2 is sooooo much better. And what's cool is that the same will happen with Mass Effect 3. It's really cool to play a game where your actions determine what happens in the next game. The Mass Effect trilogy will be one of a kind.

Really old thread. This semester needs to start up again so I have something to do during the day besides playing xbox and looking up old threads.
On that note, damn right this was a good game. I played through multiple times to get all the achievements, and it's odd how different the game is when you import a save from the first 1 as opposed to using the default decisions. I wouldn't recommend playing through it without importing a save from part 1.
Playing through this game on the most difficult setting was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done on these next-gen consoles. That part on the collector ship where you get ambushed and stuck on those platforms is still the hardest part of any game I've played through, although Dead Space 2 is seriously challenging for that spot. I seriously can't wait for part 3. I'm going to disappear from society for a solid week once that game finally comes out...
