A Forum Bet Opinion?

This has no connection to this forum. I have made a number of forum bets over the years, and it has always been some fun, especially with Pats and Jets fans. Last year, I won a jersey on the Dolphins winning 7 games with another poster.

I posted my address, ad got nothing. Brought it up, was told it was going to be sent. Waited a month, asked again, re-posted my address, and again nothing. I have no e-mail or address, and this forum has no PM. I get PISSED OFF and get into calling the loser a deadbeat, and an ass a month ago, and recently.

This was a bit disruptive of a couple of threads, which was not preferred but, with no options of other contact. I do understand that a forum wager is kinda silly but, it was no problem on many in the past.

My question is if anyone here would take offense of my reaction in not getting paid (with no other contact info), and what their opinion would be of the one not paying, understanding that he did admit losing.

Yeah, likely so but, I was curious on opinions, and would never post this with something going on.

I think welching on a bet is absolutely a ****ty thing to do. That said, I wouldn't make a bet with someone online whom I didn't know personally unless it was a reputable online sportsbook type thing.

There is literally no recourse for you in this type of a situation, hope it works out but realistically there ain't much you can do.
