So are teachers who leave to teach in places where their efforts are better appreciated disappointing?

And the Bulls won playoff series without Jordan. You just made our point lol. The Cavs were historically bad without Lebron.
They won A playoff series w/o Jordan in 1994 where they beat Cleveland w/o their best player- Brad Daugherty. A championship roster which added toni Kukoc couldn't even get to the conf Finals.

Do not make the mistake of thinking I'm agreeing with the green one, but ...

Good teachers make a diffrence wherever they are. Just saying.
True, but it has to be mentally exhausting to teach somewhere where the parents and most of the kids simply dont care.

They made the playoffs and won a series without Jordan. I dont give a damn who was injured or dead on the other team. There werent 5 teams in the NBA that the Cavs could have beat in a best of 7 minus the team's best player when Lebron left.

Its everywhere. Theres a reason the Bahamas government does that program. Aint nobody going to ****ing Mayaguana or some of those Nassau public schools by choice. Hell, America hasnt seen places like Mayaguana since about 1700 or maybe present day WV

Cle after Lebron left lost a lot more talent than just Lebron and the talent they had back had an injury plagued year. it's not a fair comparison. That's like saying after Michael left after the '98 season Chi fell apart but they lost a lot more than just Michael.

Who else did Cleveland lose that year that was worth a damn?

Cleveland got Mo williams Gibson and Jamison and an Old Shaq... The Heat got Lebron, Boshin his PRIME, Battier, RAY ALLEN, and a very promising rookie in Cole. I didnt mention Wade cuz technically he was already here.

Yea Ill stick with Pat Riley instead of Gilbert and the Cavs. He sacrificed a ton of money to play for the best opportunity to win. Winning is all he had left to do in his career and He got that from miami.
From my understanding a team still needs to win 16 playoffs games to become a champion. That is not taking the easy way. Ask the Lakers how building a super team has worked out for them. Oh yeah they have done it twice and failed while the Heat essentially have done it twice and suceeded (gary Payton, Shaq, Alonzo). You need the right formulas and unselfish players.

The lakers only had one year w/ those guys and they made the Finals and lost- just like the heat in lebron's first season.

This years Lakers stink right now but there is a long way to go.

To be fair Varejao was lost to a season ending injury that year I believe. But they were terrible none-the-less.
