wow just finished my first game of the year....fins vs my boy he was the texans...needless to say in a nail biter he beat me with 34 seconds left...marshall is a beast and having him in the game makes fasano a beast also... vontae is fast.. bell hits hard... wake is quick first step...odrick and langford both had a sack as well as dansby...hes a coverage beast all over the field...ricky and ronnie work nice. and hartline gets alot of yac...all in all i love the gameplay and the fight song hahah...

do you find it much different from 10? i'm not feeling much of a push to get it right away this year. I'll either get Madden or NFL Game Rewind...right now Rewind seems like a better use of my money, lol...

C'mon bro. We have had to play Madden for umpteen years without a quality WR.

Can you say 96 overall with Brandon Marshall? How about the fact that the we can actually cover the middle with Dansby?

People keep crying about the $60. C'mon... I just don't understand how that isn't a good investment. Think of how much time you will play.

Does it still have those annoying popup ads that popup WHILE trying to get a play going? They added them last year in some annoying Xbox live update, I won't buy it if they did it again this year as it absolutley interferes with the game and is just greedy and unnecessary and pissed me off beyond belief to the point where I stopped playing the game altogether.

That being said, how is the gameplay as compared to last year, I know they made some playbook changes.

Positives:

- "This year's game comes as close as ever to bringing you every spin move and sternum-rupturing tackle that you see on Sundays."

- "Another great addition in this year's gameplay is the ability for your AI teammates to actually land successful blocks and hold them long enough for you to utilize them if you can read the defense correctly."

- "All-in-all the core gameplay on the field is great and looks fantastic in motion."

- "I can happily say that Online Team Play is one of the best gameplay modes to make it into a Madden game in a long time." (Doesn't really affects us Online Franchise players but it's a nice to know).


Negatives:

- "[Lack of] any innovations to the two franchise modes (online and offline) and the Be An NFL Superstar Mode. Being a lover of Franchise Mode, it really hurts me to have to suffer through the same exact package that was in last year's game." (The lack of innovation the Online Franchise Mode is disappointing, but any features (e.g. salary cap system) it lacks I will be adding it independently).

- "EA Sports tried to turn all of the hot routing and assignment changing functionality you're used to into something called the Strategy Pad, but the results are a bit frustrating." (Good thing we will be getting a patch that allows us to use the old way of hot routing)

- GameFlow: "I think if you're someone who's new to Madden or if the complexities of figuring out formation types was too much for you in the past, you're going to enjoy the bulk of what GameFlow does for you. On the flipside, if you're a hardcore football fan like me who really knows their X's and O's, chances are you aren't going to use the feature all that much." (I think it's safe to say no one here will be using this feature).

You can get a copy at a local store rather than somewhere like best buy.. ...they usally sell it early...cause they dont get tracked..

That being said the demo was pretty good...

A few things I dont like, but I mean its madden.Fun to play anyway..$60 dollars is nothing..
