I would agree. Appleton is a much more fun town than Green Bay.

If you didnt buy these tickets yet, I recommend being up higher. At Lambeu you are extremely low to the ground and close to the players. It makes it hard to see at times. I recommend being up at least 15-20 rows, plus than your right at the bottom of the tunnel. Easier to take a piss and get a beer. My Grandpa's season tickets are section 123 row 30 and I think they are some of the best seats in the house.

I was just stationed in Sturgeon Bay, WI in the Coast Guard for the last 4 years....its about 40 minutes north of GB. (I just moved this past summer to MD) I'm a huge Dolphins fan but I'm also a football fan at heart and I had the pleasure of attending 5 games while I was stationed there. You will not find a more awesome home game experience anywhere in the league. Lambeau field is awesome and there isn't a bad seat in the place. I'm going this year with my fiancee, to the Fins-Packers game (who I met while I was stationed there, yes I'm going to marry a cheesehead) and I can't wait.
For the most part people are really nice.....from what I've seen if you're a fan of the away team you're just gonna be given some junk. But its playful for the most part......they'll say the "Fins are Garbage!" or something like that.... then buy you a beer. Nicest fans in pro football from what I've seen, can't speak for everyone but thats what I've seen. (When the Vikes and Bears come to GB=Different story) Nothing like going to a Jets game or anything (Which I did for a MNF game once and almost didn't make it out alive)
Also, how accurate is that info on where the Dolphins are staying in Appleton? Anyone ever tried to watch them board the bus in the morning? That would be really cool if a person could do that?
lol. I live about 15 miles away from you in Ripon. I know my location still says Illinois, which is where I'm originally from, but I've lived in Ripon for 4 years. I usually go to The Bar in Oshkosh to watch the Fins play on Sundays, unless they're nationally televised, then I watch them from the comforts of home!

They were able to seat us together. It is costing us $175 a ticket. There is another company that is charging $149 and that includes a tailgate party of unlimited food and drink (alcohol included) but they could only seat us together in 4's. Given a choice the group opted to sit together. Were in Sec 104 Row 18.
A friend of ours up there recommended flying and staying in Milwaukee. Hotels and airfare were a lot cheaper. He said when it's not game day there's not a whole lot to do in Green Bay so we'll make the two hour trek on game day.
Crazy. I used to go to football camps at Ripon College all the time. I was acctually just at "The Bar" in Oshkosh Friday for some drinks. Really nice bar. And very small world.
