All their plans seem to suggest targeting a run at the big game in the two to three year time frame. They got some pretty good players in the expansion draft but at a cost.
I can't imagine they have the best in coaching backup either. Still it's an interesting project - starting from scratch with no cap baggage.
I wish them well, particularly against the dolts.

Looking forward to seeing an offensive specialist as head coach
Carolina and Jacksonville did not go to the playoffs in their first season, they did in their second. I was like nine or something (I don't remember exactly how old) when those two teams started and I remember they were not playoff teams in their first year.
i don't really ever expect that to happen again!Originally posted by ronnie_augs

It could happen, always a first time for anything.
When I was a kid, my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school
we'd all go play in his cave, and every once in awhile he would eat one
of us. It wasn't until later that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a
bear.
is because other teams won't take an expansion team lightly!Originally posted by Frank-n-Furter
