Carson Palmer is rumored to be out in Cincinnati. He could be an option. I don't know much about him though...

He has a great deep ball. I'd probably take him over Henne.
This far into the season:
Palmer is 60% completion 20 TDs 15 INTs 3009 YDs.
Henne is 62% completion 12 TDs 15 INTs 2621 YDs.
V. Young is 60% completion 10 TDs 3 INTs 1255 YDs.
M. Vick is 63% completion 15 TDs 2 INTs 2243 YDs.

Palmer has been regressing ever since he messed up his elbow. Maybe getting away from all those crazier in Cinci would do the trick....I do get the feeling there's still something physically wrong with him.

I want to see Vince Young run a spread option attack in the NFL. Someone has got to be desperate enough to give it a go......how bout the Bills? Gailey ran that spread attack with Thigpen in KC. I know it won't happen in Miami with this coaching staff but its got to catch on somewhere....eventually.

Yeah, Palmer to me is a lateral move. Maybe a slight upgrade, but its barely even worth it. If my memory serves me he opted to not get surgery on the elbow and thats what really hurt him. Im over Henne. I cant see him ever being the guy. At the same time I also dont see any way we realistically get someone better this offseason. A change just to change wont help...we have to get someone who is actually better. I like Mallet, so Im hoping we draft him, but I have my doubt that the FO would pull the trigger on that with all the rumors about him having maturity issues. Basically we are in the same crappy situation we've been in for years now. We need a QB but just dont really have an opportunity to upgrade it (except the Brees FA year...that still makes me rage).

Well in theory we could have Matt Ryan, Kevin Kolb or Aaron Rodgers if the team had chosen to go in that direction. Whether they would have become the players they are today on this team is open to debate....

I can not BELIEVE that people are calling for Sporano's head after whats likely a .500 season. He took over a 1-15 team two years ago but apparently some people have forgotten.
