I dont know but I LOVED THIS DRAFT. Just picture Long-Pouncey-Incognito-RG-Carey up front with Thomas and maybe DeAngelo in the backfield.

Now, You got MArshall on one side, Bess on other and edmond gates running a post-out in the slot OMG

Bess is the slot receiver. That's his ideal spot. If we have 3 receivers on the field, Bess will be in the slot.

I say A because on paper we filled all our legit holes except for QB. Albeit QB is the worst spot to have a hole in, I'd rather us trade up for one of those "sure fire" QB's next year.. I don't want any more stop gaps.

EDIT: I'll say B.. Lions were an A.

I will give it a C- but barely. The first pick was just silly. I think they gave up too much for Thomas. I would have much rather seen them grab Mallet. The WR choice I think is good. The last two, who knows.

C or D. Break in the middle, C-.

We did not get value for our draft picks. We did not achieve our goal of getting more explosive(save for a single pick). We did not give this team the fresh injection of talent and youth that we needed.
It was more of the same philosophy we have been doing for years. Build in the lines, take tough players, grind away, grind away, grind away. This years Miami Dolphins picks feels merely like an expansion of the '08 or '10 draft instead of a class of its own.

We are not noticeably better now than we were week 1 of last season.

I will remember you TeddSlimmJr and Spesh, after we win it all, I'll just sit back and laugh with fond memories of my superior football IQ.

You give it an A when it leaves us looking for a vet stop-gap QB which you say you don't want?

B+ on paper. We didn't reach for any picks and filled a lot of needs. We can grade again after we see how they do.

I think they wanted Daniel Thomas so bad b/c they're just going to run the wildcat every play. That's why we don't need a QB.

    B+

Not a sexy draft but I think we drafted players who are going to fill the needs of this team. Pouncy should be a pro bowler in the next couple of years and Daniel Thomas looks like he can be a very solid back for us. Gates adds depth and playmaking ability to our recieving core and I really like Clay. I think he's gonna come in and create mismatches across the board for us, with those 4 players I think we significantly upgraded our offense. Kearse and Jimmy Wilson are high upside players taken at the end of round 7 so the risk/reward of those picks are great. If only 1 of those hit than we'll be in good shape.

The only thing keeping this draft from being an A is that we didn't address the QB position. I'm not a huge fan of the QB's in this draft so I'm glad we didn't reach for anyone or take Mallet but still would've liked it better if we could've someway addressed this spot. Oh well, there's still free agency/trades so I don't think that should affect the draft grade too much. We did a good job IMO
