What grade would you give our draft?
I would give it a B+. Not a sexy draft, but very solid. We drafted our needs.

I'll give it a "B".
If we end up trading for Carson Palmer, then I'll give it an "A".
Id give it a B.

Merge this please.
to be honest we drafted for need, and even if you thought or felt we needed a QB, we certainly needed a RB/C/WR with speed/TE/CB/and DT. when you draft for need and you still get quality players that can come in and contribute and or start thier first season, you've done well.
“I’m still a Dolphin at heart,” Marino said. “I’m excited about South Florida getting a team back that they’re going to be very proud of and a team that, in my mind, is going to have a chance to make the playoffs.”
C+
Don't like the vet FA QB options enough to justify not taking a rookie QB. Palmer is washed up. VY, Orton and especially Kolb will cost us 2012 picks. I'd frankly rather just stick with Henne.
Didn't like passing on Mark Ingram at 15 for C/G.
Pouncey will be solid but failed FA Centers like Grove, Incognito and Berger count against this pick for this regime.
Didn't like trading up for Daniel Thomas (especially when Mallett was still there). Fear we over-paid for Thomas b/c we still want to run the stupid wildcat.
Liked the Gates, Clay and Wilson picks.
Didn't like that we had so few picks from trading up and still didn't get the QB.
A+ draft would've been.....
Ingram at 15 and then trading up in the 2nd, like we did, but taking Mallett instead of Thomas. That would've given us a stud RB and the best arm in the draft to at least gamble on. Oh well...
