VIP billing and badge questions...

Ok. So I have seriously been considering buying a VIP subscription. The one thing that has kept me from doing that is the automatic renewal after the year is up. Is there any way of turning that off? Or is there an automatic reminder that is emailed to you to notify you it is about the renew so you can change or remove payment methods?

Then I would like to know what is up with the weird badges I have been seeing on the boards lately. This something just for fun or just a way to keep things interesting around here?

Can't really answer your question because I don't know. Hopefully Matt or Bill can chime in on this.

It sets up as a subscription, but as soon as you are billed you can go in and cancel the sub so you're not autobilled next year. the badges yeah we got a bored admin or two trying to keep things interesting. long offseason after all.
