Kinect compatibility tops the bill, with voice recognition allowing players to speak dialogue choices in real time--virtually conversing with Commander Shepard’s team and NPCs. But this feature goes beyond chit chat. Players using Kinect will also give orders to squad mates, tasking them with offensive and defensive positions. Players can also prompt teammates to use special abilities, which keeps the action moving rather than selecting options from the on-screen wheel we’ve seen in prior games. Bioware was also good enough to show off the new brutal melee attacks like the biotic knife we saw Shepard use to spear an enemy cowering behind cover. The crowd collectively dropped its jaw watching Shepard punish his foe, and we can’t wait to hear more about Mass Effect 3 during the Electronic Arts briefing.

. Starting off with a video, we watched a squad spring an ambush using some glorious tech. Invisibility cloaks were perfect for getting soldiers into position and we even saw someone use what looked like an crossover between a miniature helicopter and a boomerang to take a shot at an enemy from a seemingly safe perch. With soldiers in position, the sniper marked the attack with each member neutralizing opponents in unison. We’re amped to see how Ubisoft plans on using this throughout the campaign and in co-op.

As sad as it is, i recall a break up i had right before the new year of 2010. One of the first things in my head as i broke up with the beast...woman in question is "well, at least i'll now have a chance to check out Mass Effect 2 without interruption".
To this day, even if that women had been the love of my life i still stand as it was the best decision i ever made.

Bit old, but they still seem committed. This will only gain momentum when Mass Effect 3 arrives....lands...shakes apart the foundation of humanity....whatever you wanna call it....
This worries me a little bit. Obviously, they can't just base it off the Mass Effect story since we all know how it ends. Granted Sci-Fi is always out there, but I'm hoping they don't take it to ridiculous proportions with the story...

Know this is a bump, but its a new trailer for the greatest creation known to man. Felt it worthy.
Apparently they're adding an online multiplayer mode to it as well. All of will have to have some crazy Finheaven Mass Effect sessions...
