Not saying Orton isn't an upgrade, because he has accomplished more than Henne and is still young, but you can't honestly believe that he is a "good" starting QB when plenty of teams have questions at QB and Denver can't fetch a 3rd for him. Maybe teams have finally realized these QB's are being thrown around for a reason, reason being they aren't good enough to lead their team to greater things.
I mean I don't understand it, the day after Chad Pennington lost to the Ravens in 2008, people were already saying he wasn't good enough . . . you think Orton can get us further? In the AFC? I don't . . . so why waste our time and give up picks that can aid in getting us a first round QB in the draft . . . it isn't all about upgrading the QB spot to get this regime another year, it is about the long term aspirations of this franchise . . .they have had their chance . . . its sink or swim time.
