Just curious to see what kind of production people feel that Mason and Plax will give the Jets this year.

I think Mason will have a better year than Plax. If Mason can match the numbers he did last year, the Jets will be just fine with Holmes on the other side.

I agree. I think Mason was the better signing for the Jets and will end up with better numbers at the end of the season.

Nah, 900+ for Plax with 9 touchdowns.

He did. He looked a lot better than I thought he would at this point.

However, it is pre-season, and it was the Bengals. I may be a little bias, but on a couple of those it looked liked he pushed off to me.

45 catches, 650 yards, 5 TD's for Mason. 25 catches, 300 yards, 2 TD's for Burress, who will sit out games this year with an injury at some point.

I think your prediction for Mason will be very close, but I think Plaxico's numbers will be higher. I do think it is a good possibility that he could miss games due to some kind of injury, but he should be able to do better than that. My official prediction for Plax (if he does not miss significant time) would be 56 receptions, for 720 yards and 7 TDs.

Maybe catches and yardage but Plax should have more TDs and his length will make him a huge target in the red zone. His worth will be opening things up in the red zone and combined with Keller will give Sanchez another big target.
