We never stopped being elite. like I told you when we lost 3 ina row, we'd at worst be 7-4 after 11 and it looks like we could be 8-3 taking control of the division if we can win Sunday Night.

The Pats, Steelers, and Packers are all teams with storied histories and recent Super Bowl wins. They are elite teams. The Jets are a good team, but not elite...sorry.

Elite teams dont wet the bed at home on SNF against a division rival with first place on the line.
Yeah exactly. This nonsense about the Jets being "elite" is just that. Are they an improved team under Rex? No doubt. To call them elite is putting them in a class with the NFL's marquee teams like the Pats,Packers,and Steelers and they just arent there at this point. The argument that they are elite because they've been to the AFCCG two years in a row is ridiculous. The Bears went to the NFCCG last year and a Super Bowl a few years back. Does anyone really consider them elite? As a matter of fact I would place the Bears and Jets on about the same tier - solid teams that are on a level just below the elite.
