No takers for Richardson? I thought there were a lot of 'Bama fans on FH.

I think Trent deserves it..I also think RGIII does too....plus I think Trent is going to catch
some voter backlash because of people not wanting to see a rematch in the title game.

Exactly. Deserving it and winning it are two different things.

I've never seen "a lot" of Bama fans on Finheaven. I've seen 2.

honestly IMO RG3 and Ball should be the top 2.

Whichever of these kids wins the trophy probably deserves it. I don't think any of them are an undeserving candidate except for Mathieu. You can't get suspended from your team and win the Heisman Trophy.

The issue I have is that I don't understand how the Big-12 conference can distinguish and differentiate between which QB's deserve consideration and which one's don't. The conference plays zero defense, and every year they have 3, 4 or 5 quarterbacks who are all ringing up Heisman stats that are all for the most part, identical. If one deserves it they all deserve it.

Griffin threw the late interception that lost the game against Kansas St., and 2 more interceptions against Oklahoma St. in a lackluster performance. Hell, his backup came in and completed 75% of his passes and threw 2 TD's in no time when Griffin was hurt. The offense never missed a lick.

Trent Richardson put up almost 170 yards of total offense against the #1 team in the country, and one of the best defenses college football has seen in the past 20 years. The same defense that shut down a Heisman caliber back in LaMichael James. Trent was the best player on the field in a game overflowing with elite NFL talent all over the field for both teams. The Alabama coaching staff cost Trent the Heisman Trophy when he didn't get a single carry in overtime.... and it's also why we lost that game. They needed to give Trent the rock in that situation.

He was held out almost the entire 1st quarter against rival Auburn and still rushed for over 200 yards.

Richardson has faced tougher defenses than any of these guys, and every single yard of his 1,500+ has come after contact by literally carrying almost an entire defense full of guys on his back because he won't go down, or juking elite athletes in the SEC completely out of their jocks in the open field.

He's fumbled on 1 time during his 3 year career which includes over 600 touches.

Again, whoever wins it probably deserves it, but I know who I'd vote for.
