    Hahahahahahahahaha.
"Fundamentals, technique, execution -- primary. Scheme -- secondary."

"We will incorporate an aggressive, up-tempo, attacking style in all three phases of the game."

"Our team will play with discipline, poise, and maximum effort."

"I want us to be the best tackling team in the NFL, the best team in pursuit, I want to take the ball away from other teams, I want to rattle the opposing quarterback every opportunity we get."

    -- Joe Philbin

He's actually a very good DC. Just because he was a terrible HC doesn't mean he can't do anything. Just look at Wade Phillips, for a recent example

Wanny might not be the best Head Coach, but he has always been one of the top DC's in the league. Super Bowls with the Cowboys and built one of the better defenses in the league while with the Dolphins. Some guys are just ment to b coordinators and not head coaches like Wannstedt, Spagnolou, Childress, McDaniels, Nolan and Linehan just to name a few.

He's a good DC and certainly an upgrade above over-his-head George Edwards. He's also likely motivated thinking, probably delusionally, that a stellar performance will buy him back into a HC position.

, Exactly “his resume's speaks for itself”
You obviously don't have any knowledge about football. He has lead championship defenses before (see the Cowboys in the 90's, see the Hurricanes), always had a top defense in the Bears and the Dolphins. He is one of the best defensive coordinators in the league. His resume does speak for itself.

whats so funny? Wanny is/was a great DC. I fully expect Buffalo to have a top 10 defense
He's a good DC but the Bills' really don't have that many quality players on defense. Byrd, Dareus and Barnett are good and their other 2 rookies Sheppard and Williams might be good over time, but they don't have the personnel to have a top 10 defense.

Wanny is a joke... the only reason he was successful as a coordinator was because he had premier talent.

Guy runs 4/3 press man concept which demands a MLB and shut down corners....

He is as vanilla as it gets and his D always caved when you needed it most in Miami.
