Sparano is exactly what the Jets need. A coach who puts a heavy emphasis on the OL and running game and is more of a disciplinarian type.

Until Sanchez proves that he's even remotely capable of carrying the offense, then the Jets are going to need a strong rushing attack to be successful.

    Hire Sparano
    Find a solid RT
    Draft Trent Richardson

That's my ideal scenario right now.

Yeap, clearly we placed a major emphasis on the offensive line this season.

Sparano might end up being a better coord than HC. He was in over his head..He is a good fit for the Jets.

He's a good offensive line coach...he's not great but good...but he can't handle too much responsibility.

Yea thats pretty obvious now. But when he had a good qb he was able to win some games..If Jets want ground and pound Tony would be perfect for that. But we all know that they will be handcuffed in the passing game and we know you need a better than average passing game. Sanchez and Tony aint giving you average right now. Letting Cotchery go hurt the Jets too. Plaxico underachived. Holmes could be gone. Keller regressed to me as well.

I'm all for the Jets going to the ground and pound.

Can't win **** in today's NFL with that philosophy. Be my guest.

we were very close to a SB the first 2 years and the winner of the title game in the AFC last year went to the better running team not the better passing team.

We need a balanced attack, people act like we threw it more b/c of choice. It was b/c the Ol couldn't open holes early in the season and we were playing from behind late in the season.
