    Jackson is a dual threat. Immense upside. And have you seen the kid throw? My goodness its beautiful to watch. Maybe hes still a tad raw, but boy does Seattle have a bright future. Im jelly.
    Guys like Jackson can be had in the 5th round. I'd rather get our own and develop him. That Kolb worked with Reid is a plus, but I have concerns about his ability to handle the more combustible type receivers like Marshall. Is he a true leader is the question.

    Why is everybody overlooking Jason Campbell if we go that route? He actually performed better than Palmer IMO

    Jackson = 2nd round pick
    Kolb = 2nd round pick

    Therefore:

    Kolb = great
    Jackson = great plus he can run.

    Thats the way I see it.

    Thanks for the intelligent response. Im actually trying to have a respectful thread just conveying my ideas in how to improve our future. I believe i have put together a well articulated reason as to why Kolb is a future potential all pro. Ive proven how hes made Fitzgerald a probowler just like warner did to him. His qb rating is well over 80. Hes only 27 and i read somewhere that a qbs best years are after 28 so its perfect timing. If you would rather waddle with matt moore or another backup feel free. We had Marino carry us for over a decade. Kolb can do for us now what Marino did for us in the past

    The Cards may go with the cheaper option and cut Kolb outright to get out from under his salary. Could start a bidding war if he's a FA though.

    I wouldnt mind Jackson but Kolb has the much higher ceiling. You dont trade 2nd round picks and pay millions to non-franchise qbs. You just dont. Kolb is from Texas so you know hes tough. He elevated that team to relevance. I know andy reid is kicking himself that he wont have kolb next year. Again, what are we giving up? A LT that we replace with Reilly Reif and a backup qb in Moore. That for a 27 year old franchise qb thats already proven himself in the league. If he didnt get hurt he would of been a borderline probowler. Sign me up for that
    OK man..games over. What's your point? I KNOW you're messing around now.

    Thats why i say trade for him now. Listening to Phoenix sports radio the other day, the fans want skelton as the future so we need to jump on this opportunity. Give them Long who becomes their LT and moore who can compete with Skelton. I would rather have an all pro qb than LT. We can easily replace Long with Reilly Reiff and wha-la we are contenders.
