So how much did McDaniel have to do with the dickkicking the Patriots put on the Broncos a couple of weeks ago when McDaniel was watching from his couch?

Tebow is not a great QB. Belichick can outcoach anyone in the league. Patriots offense is damn near unstoppable...and Denver's defense is pretty damn good. The Option offense in the NFL always has been, and always will be pure ****ing trash at best. Anyone with an average team can stop that Option with little effort. The Patriots defense is by far the worst defense in the playoffs this season and they were one of the worst in the NFL for the entire season. Chad Henne threw for 400+ yards on that defense. Explain that.

The option offense is probably the most difficult offense to consistently stop when you are facing a team that understands the offense and truly knows how to run it. Option football is not something you can do just some of the time. Denver's problem is that while Mike McCoy has tinkered with it to fit the offense around Tim Tebow, he has not completely embraced the offense as a complete system, and therefore, he doesn't know how to counter the defense when they figure out a way to slow the speed option or the zone read down.

Now, you let Chip Kelly or Dan Mullen come into the league and run this offense, and you would see an offense that can counter you when you try to take one aspect of it away.

Sorry no, the option is a trash offense in the NFL and after an offseason, everyone will be more prepared for it. Just like the Wildcat.

Tebow has a lot of work to do this offseason, he has to transform himself into a different type of player to compete next season.

If you practice without the football, you can figure out how to stop that Option offense. It's really not difficult. The Nebraska Corn Huskers made their mark on college football with the Option offense...but they couldn't run that **** on any Hurricane defense. Too fast from sideline to sideline. If the Option was a legitimate threat in the NFL, it would have taken off in the mid 1980's and the 1990's when running games were at a premium and some teams had some of the best Quarterbacks in the history of the league. The Option is no different than that Wildcat. You can run it a few plays a game and it will work from time to time when teams aren't expecting it.
