Nobody really knows how good Flynn could be, unless you are someone that has seen him day in and day out in practice. If Philbin decides Miami needs to get him, then that will be good enough for me, along with the little I already know about him.

    - He was a quality QB in college for LSU.

    - In the little time he has played, he has thrown almost twice as many TDs as INTs, and over 1000 yards.

    - In only 2 start he is 73 of 115 with a 63.4 %, 915 yards, 9 TDs 4 INT. <-- Only 2 starts people

    -
He will still be pretty young in 2012, and will not cost draft picks or players to get.

But the defense had no preparation for him..

does this question even need asking? The guy threw 6 tds in one game. I know everyone says its a fluke but I ask, who was the last Phins QB to do that? How about even 4 tds? I dont have that answer without google but i would bet its been awhile.

im not sold on him at all but if philbin wants us to sign him I give him the benefit of the doubt. now if he is wrong I will definately place the blame on him
I'm sure that's his biggest concern.

Like I have been sayin, philbin has worked with Flynn for a few years now so philbin and the packers staff know if he has good chance of being good. That is why I will stand by what ever decision is made with flynn all because philbin knows if he is ready and worth the money.

What would you rather do, mortgage the farm and get RGIII or spend a tiny little bit of Mr. Ross' billions and go get Flynn. If Coach Philbin is for it its a no-brainer!

Cuz you have to give him a huge contract most likely. Kolb got a 5 year, $63 Million, $21 Million guaranteed. So its going to be something like that I'm guessing.
But Kolb has also failed miserbly so it is likely that most teams will not offer that type of contract to him because of Kolb...

I'm not necessarily sold on Flynn. There would be, however, cause for optimism were we to sign him due to A.) he'd be going into, at the very least, a similar system to the one he has been playing in, B.) Green Bay back up QBs have a tendency to pan out, and C.) I have never seen Kevin Kolb, AJ Feeley, or any of the other guys he's being compared to put up 480 yards passing and six TD passes in one game. Signing him would also open the draft up for us to address players at other positions, such as Courtney Upshaw, Coby Fleener, or David DeCastro.
