underwent a fourth procedure on his neck in the past two years that until now has been unreported, according to a report by SI.com.
It has been widely known that Manning has had at least three procedures on his neck, and the fourth reportedly took place sometime after his May 23, 2010 surgery in Chicago to fix a bulging disk, and before his Sept. 9 procedure to have one-level cervical neck fusion surgery in California.
The SI.com report said the Colts believe it is inevitable Manning will have another surgery, and potentially another fusion procedure, to address bone spurs just above where the most recent fusion surgery took place.
It further complicates the ongoing saga regarding the future of Manning's NFL career.
