I can't see Payton wanting to play against his brother twice a year for the rest of his career.

Ralph Vacchiano, a giants beat writer who also wrote a book with Eli Manning said on siriusxm radio that part of the reason Eli didn't go to San Diego was so he wasn't in the same conference as Peyton so he's not gonna go to the same division as Eli.

Two people "close" to the Manning family tell Howard Eskin of 94 WIP Philadelphia that Peyton Manning is "very likely" to be a Redskin in 2012.

Eskin is a Philly reporter with a relatively spotty reporting track record, but his information is at least interesting. He refers to the Redskins' interest in "other QBs" as a "smokescreen," and indicates that Mike Shanahan's priority will be to acquire Peyton Manning. On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Redskins have interest in both Matt Flynn and Kyle Orton.
