    Dolphins working relationship with Manning's Agent Tom Condon

    When it comes to signing free agents the relationship between a players agent and the team could be everything. For example I am very well aware the Dolphins & Drew Rosenhaus have an excellent working relationship. In fact I was told by an agent that other agents including himself fear Drew success with Miami players and often worry about Drew stealing their clients. Since the Dolphins and Owner Stephen Ross are gaga for Peyton Manning I decided to check into the Fins relationship with Manning's Agent Tom Condon, fortunately for Dolfans what I have discovered seems very incouraging.

    You see Ireland is no rookie when dealing with Tom Condon. By my count he has dealt with him three times in the past and I say three because I did not continue researching to see if there are more players who share Condon as an agent on the Fins roster. I know for a fact Ireland dealt with Condon when Miami signed Pennington in the offseason of the '08 season. If you remeber in '08 the

    had to act quick and get a deal with Pennington cause KC was rumored to want him. The Dolphins also resigned Pennington after his contract ran up and Ireland had success with Condon yet again. And who can forget that Condon is the Agent of Jake Long, the man who could be covering Peyton's blind side in Miami, that to me is key. The Dolphins were able to sign Long before the draft and had tremendous success in locking up Jake before being drafted, I don't think another team has done that since Jake was drafted.

    It might not be worth anything in the end, but Condon being Jake Long's agent could pay dividends for Miami. You would think Condon is likely to stear Manning to where he feels he will be well protected and what better player to have protecting your QB than big Jake, a client on Condon. I believe this could be huge for Miami if & when Manning is released.

    Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.

    If they are, hopefully they are doing it VERY secretly because if they got caught, we'd face some very serious tampering charges.

    The Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him the most;
    he said, "Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
    Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
    And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
    the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
    he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.".
