I think Washington is out because he and Eli probably will not want to battle twice a year...

Why is nobody talking about Seattle in this thread? I have heard their name tossed around a lot in the media, they are in a weak division too.

    Arizona Cardinals
    -weak division
    -mild weather easy on the body(Arizona-mild, S.F.-mild, Seattle-mild, STL-Dome)
-have signed big named FA's in the past:K.Warner, E. Smith, Edgerrin James.
    -have talented wide receivers.

we don't want Peyton, the hiring of Tony Sparano tells us all we need to know that the organization is committed to fixing Sanchez. You can take us off this list.

I believe SF's initial offer to Alex Smith was a 2 year deal at mid level money so I’m not so sure they wouldn’t take a shot at Payton.

Sparano will cure Sanchez of what ills him?

The Jets signing of Tom Moore was during December, and only for the remainder of the 2011 season.
It was not clear that his association with the Jets continues.
If Peyton decides to sign with Miami, I would not be surprised to see Tom Moore hired in Miami as a consultant.
He was an offensive consultant with the Jets all season, mostly working from home. He only started working with the team in Jersey during December.

I wouldn't call S.F. weak. Arizona was average last year too. STL sucks but they have Fisher now so they'll be 12-4 right?

When is SF and Seattle mild?

Aside from Fitzgerald, who else is a talented WR on that team?

The thread asks to "Assess the competition" for Manning ...

NOT rationalizing why we're the only team that he wants to sign with .. and better fits STINK!!

Every team that doesn't have a top 10 QB is considering Manning especially if he's willing to take an incentive based contract.

If Peyton Manning is on the market for cheap, you consider it, you'd be an idiot not too.

If Manning is ready to play he'll go to the team of his choice.

Might as well sit back, crack open a cold one and wait for him to make up his mind.
    blah blah blah
