YA Tittle says you can't spell "Elite" without "Eli" Compared to Yelverton Albert, Phil was a sandlotter!

Oh and if we're gonna believe "the best team QB we've seen" then hell, Namath has been saying for 2 seasons that the jets, Rex and Sanchez are a royal cluster****. Guess he was right from the start, eh?

YA is a HOFer but only played 4 years for the Giants.

How can a QB be elite when he is so up and down from week to week? that was my point all along and as usual I am correct and you are wrong. elite postseason QB? elite late game QB? I can buy that but to actually be a real elite QB you can't be as inconsistent as Eli especially since he has played his entire career w/ amazing weapons on offense.

    Namath has never bashed Sanchez.

Eli Manning and his offense are looking pretty elite tonight.

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

Former New York Jets quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Joe Namath said he’s losing faith in struggling Jets QB Mark Sanchez.

“I’m questioning some of the things that I’ve seen,” Namath told radio host Michael Kay Friday night following the Jets embarrassing 49-19 loss to the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving.

“I don’t know what’s inside Mark’s head. I don’t know that he’s gifted enough at this point to be feeling what he sees and making the changes.”

The most memorable play of the game occurred in the second quarter when Sanchez turned the wrong way on a handoff and scrambled forward.

He ran right into his teammate’s butt — NY Jets guard Brandon Moore. Sanchez fumbled the ball. It was returned for a touchdown. And now, fans have made Sanchez and the entire Jets team the butt of their jokes.

“It’s mind boggling,” Namath said. “’Are your eyes closed? You don’t see where you’re going? I don’t know. I really can’t relate to that.’”

Especially when it isn't filled with that ugly Jets green.

Oh damn you're right. I forgot that the Giants have to share their stadium with the Jets.

Eli does look elite at times but the real elite QBs you know what you will get every week and w/ the astounding talent he has on O to be up and down as much as Eli is there's just no way he's an elite QB.

and JetLife Stadium looks so much better in green and white but it is a terrible stadium.

3rd time in 4 years Elite Eli leads the Giants to no playoff app. How many Elite QBs do this? the 5 TD game in a meaningless week 17 will skew the uninformed but look at weeks 15 & 16 to see what eli did w/ the season on the line.
