yeah b/c Tom very rarely leads that O to 17 &b 21 pts, it was clearly all a ball sticking to a helmet in '07 and a disputed sideline catch in '11 that did it.

2007: Pats averaged 37 PPG in reg season, scored 14 in SB
2011: Pats average 32 PPG in reg season, scored 17 in SB

how was eli amazing? in the 1st superbowl, the giants had 3 pts going into the 4th. what was amazing about that? then on the final drive, after having 2 dropped ints and a once in a lifetime catch made by a player who is not even in the nfl anymore, arguably the flukiest catch of all time, after all that he finally took advantage. eli was not amazing that game, the giants d line was amazing that game,

the 2nd superbowl he was better, but i wouldnt say amazing, 19 pts. again, good enough, much better than 1st superbowl, but nothing amazing about eli that superbowl.

thanks to TWO QBs dropping out, this is why the pro bowl is a joke. we all know he didn't make it this year on his own merit. Eli is the ZERO time all pro which is what means something.

The Jets getting into the playoffs was basically like a Welfare Playoff program.
