Barden has been talked up for 4 years by the Giants and their fans, the TE was playing behind Jason Witten in dallas. I guess he gets credit for Brown too, right?

How come you didn't bump this thread week 1 or early last week when Eli had 3 picks?

He played great last night but did you notice them talking about good Eli and bad Eli? when that is discussed you know you aren't an elite player, w/ elite players you know what you are getting every week. You don't hope to get the good version.

Barden who? Never heard of him. Everyone talks up everyone on their team every year. Dolphin fans were telling me about some guy named after a convenience store and some finance major or something. Hurricane fans are still telling me about this Ramon Buchanan character and he's now a Senior.

I didn't bump this thread in week one because I was out of town. Plus, I've been moved to first shift and I don't have as much time to post because I'm actually having to WORK on first shift. The game against the Bucs I was at work watching the Dolphins game on the laptop and the Ravens-Eagles game on the TV in my office. And last night Tyler bumped this thread and then I jumped in before bed.

    Eli is elite though.

No, but I did hear it about Brett Favre.

    Guess he wasn't elite either.

Eli is Elite, A sign of an Elite Qb is winning with replacments and no names...Eli has done that time and time again. I knew going into this year Martellus Bennett was going to be a force for the Giants, I drafted him real late in my fantasy league and he has exceeded expectations so far, He has caught TD's in three striaght games. Eli makes everyone around him so much, just like his brother does.

early in Brett's career we heard that but once he was got that out of the way he was consistently a big time QB w/ the occasional bone headed play. It wasn't a week to week thing.

Brett Favre made bone headed decisions on a daily basis. Sending dick pics to reporters. That's what makes Brett Favre Brett Favre. He's elite and Eli is just as good. These guys go out and take chances. That make some bad decisions from time to time but you can live with that when you take a look at the good. The good far outweighs the bad with either.

I'd rather have Eli in a big game, I'd rather have Brett games 1-16. Brett won 10+ games nearly every year no matter who was around him.

    Enough said.

    Elite QBs win elite games.

The Jets would be nasty if they had Elite Manning
