so going by that eli playoff record, those 8 wins came in 2 postseason runs which ended in a sb victory as we all know, but those 3 losses mean he has had 3 1 and dones, and the rest of those seasons missed playoffs.

hes been the starter since the 04 season i believe ( or he deff started a good amount in 04 his rookie year) so hes made playoffs 5 times out of 9 times, and when u take into consideration the nfc has been the weaker conference the majority of his career, and 3 of those playoff appearances were with records of 8-8, and 9-7 2x, which as we all know many teams miss playoffs with those records, so thats more other teams being weak, than the giants actually being a good team,

eli is a good qb, he needs to improve his reg season play, and get to the postseason consistently. he cant go 1 year playoffs, 2 years out, 2 years in, etc. hes good, not elite.

so r u really telling me you would take eli manning in his prime over peyton?

peyton did not play great this week by any means, and truth be told, i am happy they lost bc i want ray lewis to get that ring on his way out, but if not for some of the worst coverage in prevent defense history, peyton manning is playing in the afc championship game this weekend. you can say that ''who cares about the what if scenarios'', etc, but the reason the game went into ot was not due to peyton manning.

ill take peyton over eli any day.

LOL. Damn Dolphin and Jet fans are just trying to see the playoffs. Most can't even spell playoffs correctly since they never see the playoffs.

Of course they'd take the playoffs over something they've never heard of like a Super Bowl title lol.

    P. Manning made a terrible decision and threw back across his body against a defense known for creating turnovers. Lets not act like this is the first time he has made terrible decisions and cost his team in the post season remember the Superbowl pick 6? Peyton is better in the regular season but Eli is one of the best post season QBs of our time!

right now we are but 2 years is our longest playoffless streak since 1996 so hopefully that continues and we break the 2 year drought next year.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll be right back among the elite now that the circus has died down and you have Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez to carry you back to the playoffs.
