Chris Weinke had the same injury as Peyton Manning and didn't start having the nerves regenerate until the 6 month mark. Manning isn't at the 6 month mark until march. It's still early guys.

I am willing to take the risk anyway and sign him. If Penny can win the division with a Noodle Arm, I am sure Manning can do more.

IF we are to ever take a risk on some player, who better than Peyton Manning!?!?!?!

WAIT....It's February and he's playing like the guy who led us to the AFC East championship a year after going 1-15? I will TAKE IT!

I'm assuming it will be somewhat better come the 2012 season. We clearly have a team that can get to the red zone, except they kick too many field goals. Even if Manning is not as strong as he used to be, his accuracy is still there. You think we're kicking 4 field goals between 15-28 yards like we did against the Cowboys if Peyton Manning is the QB? Or losing a 1 point game to the Browns because we couldn't score? If just one of those FG's is a TD, those are wins.

Come on guys, you have to know that if Manning si throwing like Pennington did here, considering his in field intelligence, OL scrimmage changes before the snap, defensive reads and all he brings to the table besides his throwing strength, he will instantly make the team he lands in, to a contender one.

The quarterbacks clap and Philbin rises. "I have to leave on a high note," he says, "like George Costanza."

Would you still want Manning if he has a "noodle arm"?
The first noodle arm took us to the playoffs. I had no problems with Pennington's arm strenght. He made best use of his smarts.

First; Manning is throwing like CP now, with the possibility of improvement, potentially dramatic.
    That's good.
Second; Manning never had a noodle arm, and it will be a transition for him to recognize whether or not he can make a throw.
    That's not great.

I think if he is willing to come cheap+incentives Miami should go for it. If he wants guaranteed $12mm then I might pass.

If he plays like a late career Chad Pennington, then we shall do well. Possibly go all the way this time, being that he will be surrounded by better players than Pennington was.

Even having Penny in your name with the MIA greats goes to show the silliness in your infatuation with a sub par QB who folded against elite defenses.

Manning if limited like Penny, wouldn't play IMO. Why would a great with a 'noodle' arm care to demean his legacy going into a season less than 100%?
