I think Blackmon or RGIII will be there at the fifth spot and I believe we can make a deal with the Bucs.

I'd not trade away 2 first round picks for him.....we did that for Ricky some years ago and it set us behind for years.

I wouldn't give up anything to get RGIII. Not even the draft pick to select him.
    Stop the foolishness.

Well, I'll give you a solid answer on the price.

It would indeed be higher than... giraffe pu$$y, and that's too damn high!!! Unless you're a giraffe that is....and were not.

Haven't posted here in a while...As for RG III: I was at one time enamored by his numbers, but after giving it more thought and watching more of his game, there is no way I'd mortgage anything to move up to draft him. I don't see him being a franchise type QB. Does he have potential to be solid? Sure. But I don't see potential for greatness. And to throw away what it would take to move up to draft him, I'd have to feel like he is going to be great. Just don't see it. Stand pat. Sign Flynn or Manning (if possible), keep Moore, and draft another QB in round 2. We need to improve our o-line, safety play, a burner WR, and a bruising back. This all may not be able to happen in one off season, but throwing away future picks on an unproven QB will prevent us from building this football team to be contenders for years to come.

it set us back because Ricky quit on us. It was actually a great deal until that happened.

Yo for all of you people who talk about how the price to get RG3 would be too steep, I really really don't know what the hell you expect. Good quarterbacks don't grow on trees and if one is available in FA, chances are that there is a serious downside to signing him. This year for example, Manning is old and nobody knows if he can still play, and Matt Flynn has started 2 ****ing NFL games.
Unless you have a VERY high draft pick (top 3-5) you are going to have to give up a king's ransom if you want to draft a top tier draft prospect, just like the Giants did with Eli, THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT GOES. If we give up 2 first and 2 seconds for RG3, obviously there is a huge risk just like with any player out of the draft. But if he ends up being a beast like I think he can be nobody is going to miss those picks, especially if we raid the FA cabinet for guys like Grubbs and Mario Williams.
